I fired up the switch for the first time in a while for my daughter’s birth. Was home for a month. After the first week I felt the gaming itch and figured out how to slouch on the couch just right to get her cradled and hold a controller. Played through Zelda tears of the kingdom.
Now at 3 months im playing baldurs gate 3 and bound all the required buttons to my mouse so I can hold her against me with the other hand.
Also managed to get 95% of the button mappings for farm sim on the wheel/joystick.
It’s totally do-able future gaming dad’s, just gotta choose the right game genre for those first few months.

I’ve spent many an hour for the past two and a half years bouncing a bouncer with my foot while I game overnight.
This is right up there in awesomeness. Beeb bond.
My first was a couch game of dos2 with controller. Fantastic fun.
2nd was rocket league civ 6 and stellaris as able.
