I’m considering the buying the 2070 mostly because of the fact that the person selling 6600s has way too many (maybe used for mining) and the description feels to formal and energetic for it. The guy selling the 2070 also lives closer to me.

The answer to me would be do you want to put up with AMD adrenaline.

The single reason I will never buy an AMD GPU again is because I have to fucking Google and download the drivers every time there’s a driver update because the software and the taskbar will tell you there’s a mismatch between software and Driver version every single time

At least within video I can use G-Force experience click install now and walk away it’ll be done when I come back

    None !
    I found used 3060 for 200€
    Used 4060 for 300€.

Don’t get 2000 series GPUs, they can have Micron GDDR6 which for this generation of GPU came with a factory defect that makes these chips degrade way faster than they should. Making your GPU die a premature death

  4. Honestly neither is great.

6600 new is 220 euro. 200 is terrible price for used.

Quick update: I found a 360 OC and a 2080 super, both for 250 each. Little tight on the budget but if they’re really good in comparison to the others I’ll consider it

I see you are in Cyprus and yes prices for GPUs do suck here. Look at [skroutz.gr](https://skroutz.gr). There are new Rx6600 for 200 and delivery is usually about 10 . A bit slower than rtx 2070 but i still would rather get a new gpu

There’s a damn DVI port on that thing, it’s a SCAM! Don’t fall for it!

Try to see if you could find A 6650xt they about A year newer and probably gains of like 20% performance over A 6600.

We’ll they could have at least opened one of the 6600 up for viewing. If new it doesn’t matter that they mine, if used the only concern is if they know how to tune an AMD card well. Essentially the 6600 would use really low power draw, maybe down to 60W. So besides a consistent, constant use it’s not really being “overused” or stressed at all compared to gaming.

I don’t think a 2070 is worth 200Euros. I’m currently selling my 2080 and the highest offer I got so far is 180 USD. I suggest you look around a bit more.

If you believe the 6600 is brand new I have some timeshares in Florida you’ll be interested in…

sucky deals but if you had to choose one go with 2070 because the 6600s were used for mining and that’s basically buying 4 wheels and an engine with a salvage title on it.

You can get a new 6600 from Amazon at 200$, so getting it second handed at that price is a waste. Honestly the best option is to get the 2080 you mentioned, the only thing the 6600 really has over it is that the energy consumption of the 6609 is really low when considering its performance
