See, I feel like these new v-cards need automotive-grade electrical plugs these days with locking clips. It’s apparent the current standards aren’t up to the task.

I’m a big believer that we need to go elsewhere for plug options. I want XT60 plugs for these thirsty GPUs.

Honestly, I never understood why we came away from screw-in plugs for things that are 99.99999% permanently installed. If you’re a reviewer/tester/extreme overclocker/you move every six days… cool. Unscrew your stuff. Why do the rest of us have to have these weak-ass connections that fall out if you sneeze, and if you *do* plug and unplug frequently, those connectors lose the strength of their spring-lock mechanisms? GPUs, SSDs, etc. are *generally not hot-swappable*.
And extremely rarely are people swapping their monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.
And those of us with keyboards that we swap in and out can absolutely get quick-disconnect cables.
Shoot, USB should have some kind of locking mechanism *or* be Mag-safe-esque, with pins & pads. If you’re not to implement a break-away design to keep things from snapping/getting damaged, *then lock them the heck down*.
