I kept the case, gpu, and mobo boxes.
Latter two can go in the first one.
Worth hanging onto incase you need to warranty, or in case you need to move the build.
For resell value, yes.
Keep them while warranty last. Then throw them away if you want
Only if you plan to resell, otherwise the case box is good for moving (plus gpu maybe for same reason).
Some people keep them to showcase.
Some people keep them for return/warranty.
Some people keep them for resale.
I recycle them within a week.
Yes, you’ll need them for better resale value and also losing the box can void your warranty (at least that’s how it is in my country) so i try to keep them boxes always
The main parts cpu/gpu/motherboard have unique codes/info for warranty support and they may want you to send it in so years later you will have that info and a box to ship it out.

But I do save mobo and gpu boxes after warranty runs out. If I sell something I want to be able to provide the original box and basically everything that came in the boxes for the buyer.

Keep all the boxes and put them all in case box. It is also much easier to sell the components if you do upgrades and if you want to move out.
Of course, at least until the warranty is up. It’s a fun game to try to fit the smallest boxes in the next size up boxes and all of that fits in your PC case box. It’s like a puzzle.
I buy most of my stuff from brick and mortar stores so I usually keep my boxes for at least whatever time the return period is. Smaller boxes like video card, CPU, SSD, etc stay on a shelf in case I sell the parts later. Monitor, PC case and other large boxes go to the dumpster.
I’m using my mobo box as storage for my extra case screws, zip ties , and extra hard drive stuff
Take photos and cut out the info panels. Things like serial numbers. Recycle what you can cut down and trash the rest.
I’d keep the pc case box and the gpu box long term. Keep the rest until you’re confident your build is working solidly.
You can put almost all of them inside the case box playing a bit tetris with the other box and the case foam, do it for warranty or for the resell future purpose.
I always keep the GPU and motherboard box.
I keep every box inside the case box. and keep that on the top of the shelf.
I’d say keep the tower box, and store the other boxes inside. But only do this if you plan on onselling the parts later.
If you use a part until it’s scrap, then only keep boxes that include accessories and other stuff in thrm (e.g. PSU box with the extra cables and warranty papers).
The most important imo would be PC case and GPU boxes.
But as people have stated they’re all great to keep for warranty purposes.
I keep most boxes. As I upgrade and shift components down to my other lower tier PCs, I sometimes need a different cable bracket or screw (e.g. CPU cooler).
But you should be able to put them all in the mobo box, except Case and CPU cooler. Then put everything in the Case box.
register your parts 1st then maybe you can toss em out, unless you like collecting component boxes

I’ve ran out of room in my closet for them. Had to start collapsing them.

I keep all of mine. Not only much easier to sell something when you upgrade, as it makes your offer more valuable if you include original box, but also way less hassle to send it to the buyer then.

Keep them at minimum until warranty runs out, and keep any that you might plan on reselling in the future. I still have all of my original boxes, and I trade/sell to upgrade. Nearly everyone I’ve sold to has mentioned that the parts felt “newer” since they came in the original packaging (cleaning helps a ton too tho)

I usually keep them for a while but in a collapsed format to save space.
I have built two rigs and I kept my boxes for each, only tossing the first rig’s boxes after I built my second. Always important to have all information available in case you need support.
