To be fair, it seems to me that the flight sim/sim racing communities are somewhat distinct from the mainstream gaming community although there obviously is a lot of overlap.

Im the same. Have racing sim set up triple screen computer set up. Had just built my desktop a year ago and maybe turned it on twice in the past six months… being a adult is hard… i got a steam deck thinking maybe i could game on that when im out and about; but that didn’t work either so it just sits as well. When i do have time i turn a game on look at the main menu and can’t remember what i was doing last so i just turn it off bc i dont wanna start over… it really sucks.

I know because I have a sim racing rig and do quite a bit of iRacing, ACC and DiRT. Ask most of those guys if they’re gamers and they’ll say “Nah, I’m a sim racer.”
