I was scrolling through Amazon when I found a really good deal on a gaming PC. It’s almost too good to be true. It was sold by a third-party seller for $2000. It’s supposed to have a 4090 and a 3900k. I would be able to tell if it arrives that it’s not those parts. Would I be able to get my money back for fraud?

  1. If they’re not the parts listed there then yes you will be able to get your money back, I advice you to record opening the box (not just take pictures)

  2. 2000$ would be an **insane** deal on that system, the 4090 is around 2k alone. Yes, that sounds like a scam.

OT: First prebuilt I’ve seen that uses a quality AIO.

That seller has a similar pc listed for 800 and a load of other stuff way too cheap, you got scammed, get a refund.

  5. This system price is around $2500-3000. $2000 something is not right here

Record you opening the box to be safe, but yeah you should be able to just return it if it’s bad

As others have said, record the unboxing. However, if it is what it says it is, congrats.

I’ve scored things off of Amazon sales that seemed to good to be true, and I’ve been burned a couple of times on those too. It can go either way. Goodluck.

skytech is a dumb name but a legit company, I’ve also seen them go stupidly low on price before but usually around holidays, this is kinda random for such a deal. I guess make sure it’s not a fake skytech account and I’d say u got lucky af

    Reeks of scam.

  10. Thats-nice-smile

Make sure you do a unboxing video just to make sure they can’t argue against you but other than that it should be fine and you should be able to get your money back

Advice 1) never ever buy a computer over amazon. If you dont want to build your own computer go to a website where there only sell or coustemize computer. The best would be when the store is in your town, should you have any problems with the computer.

Should I wait to see what arrives or should I just cancel it?

  13. ThatDarkkAsian

Yes it’s so obviously a scam. If you think it’s too good to be true it is

23.sneaker shopify and a super long delivery window? This is a scam. Please stop enabling scammers with your ignorant behavior. You might even lose the A to Z case you open if the scammer knows what they’re doing.

Yeah, it reeks of Scam. $2000 for that seems extremely good to be true, unless it’s some rich guy that gave it to someone and that person is looking for some quick cash.
