I’m guessing they’re using “up to” to its fullest extent.

I really have to give intel credit for the work they’re doing, they definitely are trying to make it work.
That being said, nowhere in the article does it say anything about any improvements in dx12, you have to actually go to the release notes for that info and it’s only 2 games.

I’m so hoping that in the next 5 years they can be within the GPU space fully. We need Intel to start taking money out of Nvidia and AMD’s hands to start seeing positive change.
With how they develop their chips, and often cut corners on innovation and only do it when it directly benefits them… I’ll hold my breath.

Really looking forward to Intel establishing themselves more in the GPU business. Im content with my card for now but who knows, maybe Ill be buying an Intel Card in a couple years.

“Up to” doing a lot of heavy lifting in that headline.

I think Arc Gen 2 will be closer, but frankly still catching up to AMD and Nvidia. I expect by Gen 3 the majority of kinks will be gone.

I feel like I’ve seen a dozen of these. So by now I feel all games should be running at their frame caps on Intel.

I’m a huge fan of the competition in the space. Hoping for one or two more generations before we see the real fireworks go off. Nvidia’s monopoly is quite the choke-hold on the prices for GPUs as a whole.

2025 – **Intel Arc New GPU Drivers Boost Performance** up to 250% in Half Life 2

So a game that ran at 6fps now runs at 45fps. Great Intel!

I am excited for ARC owners! I won’t even consider those cards until they support PCVR but I am happy for people who are getting a lot of value out of them.

This was a support request I made for MCC, was only getting around 20fps on reach. Testing the driver later on.

“Driver optimization plays a vital role in the performance of GPUs, and this achievement highlights Intel’s strides in optimizing their drivers for various DirectX versions.”
“These performance gains have the potential to impact a wide range of users, from gamers to content creators, who rely on the performance of their GPUs for smoother experiences.”
EnviousMedia
Oh kewl, time to update my driver’s I guess, I’m some games already run nice so it’s great when driver updates push the performance upto around 150fps so I can make good use of my 144hz monitor
