Any suggestions on how to improve it? Not a big fan of my desk

  1. I was thinking about getting a bigger/better desk, my neck kinda hurts from looking at the monitor, but if I move it closer to the center near my laptop it’s too close to my eyes. Room is super small tho

    How’s your posture OP?

Read your comment and a bit confused. To me it would seem obvious to move the display to the center, and the laptop to either side, probably the left side for better wire management but up to you.

You have a separate keyboard and mouse so not sure why you wouldn’t move the laptop and use it as the secondary screen. Potentially elevate it with a laptop stand. Could mount the display to the wall or get a stand for it which might help keep it farther from you, but…

I asked about your posture because I have to imagine you’re neck and shoulders aren’t doing great from looking down at that laptop and you mentioned neck pain from the other display also.

Watch some desktop posture videos on YouTube and you should find that your desk is probably not the issue. No idea of your age but if you spend a lot of time at your desk do yourself a favor and learn good posture. It seems you probably already know some things based on your ergonomic mouse. Getting your screen at the right height and distance, keyboard at the right spot, chair at the right height for your wrists, etc all impacts how you’ll set everything up.

    Hope that’s helpful.

Edit: looked through some recent posts to try and find something similar to what I’m suggesting, here’s something close:
