Here’s my head canon ending
V tells Johnny to stick around in his head for a little while longer and that the two of them can both live by getting their hands on some modified Gemini Synthetic Bodies. Johnny will have to keep Vs old body and modify it to look like his old self while V is inserted into the Gemini.
V takes his spot at the number 1 merc in night city and legend who cheated death and raised Johnny Silverhand from his grave, (or leaves Night City with the Nomads, your choice) Johnny goes back to making hard-core punk rock music, probably while slumming it with Kerry and Us Cracks on their world tour.
Yori continues to dismantle Arasaka from inside, and Militech continues to prepare for another Corporate War that they will most likely start.
The world just keeps on turning, with V and Johnny chasing the sun rise.
