Run a workshop 15+. Diagnostics all day every day. Cheap shit SSD’s even entry level SSD’s (Kingston etc) once data has been sitting around for a while (months, years etc) those areas slow down. No details in SMART info, no faults or issues, only tools like HDTune Pro with its surface scan and then speed map will show it (and the performance decrease over time). Most modern Samsung retails parts do not suffer these issues (exception, 840 EVO series with original firmware), they just perform like brand new for years.
