In place of your laptop. Just close your laptop or support it elsewhere. Otherwise, you need a larger desk.

Since you have speakers on either side of your current monitor and if you don’t want to move them, I would say bring the current monitor down a couple of inches and put the second monitor on top of it.

That may mean wall mounting the speakers.
You didn’t ask, but I agree with other posters about the real solution being a bigger desk. I’m sure you did something nice for someone once, spoil yourself, you deserve it!
