My V is a nomad orphan who was raised by a former Arasaka Guard ninja that was relieved of his post due to having an affair with his charge. When V was nearing adult hood his master was killed by his former Arasaka employer igniting a deep hatred of corps in my V, and kick starting his quest for revenge.

I have two characters and neither of them are even V. my Corpo’s name is Hailey Bello, and my Streetkid’s name is Spencer Suarez.
Hailey is the daughter of some Arasaka drones who turned to the life of a Merc and moved away from mom and dad after she became fed-up.
Spencer is a Valentino, born into the gang, who doubts his indoctrinated Catholic faith as well as his allegiance to the Valentinos.
Hailey’s mother and father were always rather sociopathic and cold for her early life growing up in an Arasaka home, leaving her some fucked-up amalgam of icy Corpo and pissed-off Edgerunner after she walks away the Corp as a young adult with a trail of broken relationships and unanswered questions in her wake.
Spencer’s mother forced him into the mold of a Valentino from a young age, actively discouraging him from looking into Cyberware or anything else he finds appealing in his childhood, and leaving him virtually parentless while she herself chases some hollow dream of being a legend well into her mid adulthood.

I assume there’s probably some unwritten rule for Valentinos to not fraternize much outside the gang. despite this, Hailey and Spencer still try to stay together as pointless as it seems in pursuit of this toxic, dysfunctional idea for what they COULD be if things weren’t so relentlessly shit for them.
Hailey finds a sick comfort in Spencer’s struggle, rather toxically taking him as validation that Night City is the problem and absolving her of responsibility for her choices and beliefs.
Spencer romanticizes Hailey’s lifestyle as a Merc, which he knows isn’t healthy or sustainable for her, but still can’t keep himself from imagining what his life could be like if he lived like she does.
this is extremely abridged as I have over 70k words of written lore fleshing them out as legitimate characters, but it’s a decent synopsis of who they are as people.

My V pretends he doesn’t care, but he tries really hard to be cool. He also likes to eat cereal in his underwear while watching cartoons.
My V spent most of her youth in an Arasaka boarding school, and went straight to an Arasaka college/university program on legacy admission, because her hands off, corpo parents were donors.
When their money and influence couldn’t save her job in the corpo prologue, she cut them off and went absolutely buckwild living her own life for the first time. Her first few dozen jobs she played fast and loose and almost got herself zeroed before the main story began. 😅
She also has a loving affinity for anime from the 1990s.
Edit: …and she loves Russian Hardbass. I thought it was a quirky little headcanon to have, and even found a mod maker who turned one of the in game stations to all hardbass; it was great for role-playing.

My V keeps up with his sleep. 6 hours at least, no more than 10.
After missions or gigs, he has a drink or two, and walks the city streets.
V gets off a little every time he beats somebody almost to death with a dildo, and then stands over their unconscious body and hits them one more time to finish them off
The only Quick hack I would need is for speakers… That way I can blast my enemies with punk rock as I carve em up with mantis blades. I’d have to run it off an external deck since I’d also have Sandvestan but yeah always goes into battle with metal or puck rock as the backdrop music.
My V has a light sense of honor, against any melee enemy, he pulls his own melee too.

My V is an operator. Arasaka educated and trained as a door kicker before going off to do secret squirrel shit for the company before being dragged out of the field and groomed for leadership. Problem is; he’s not meant for admin tasks, his brain isn’t wired that way. By the time 2077 rolls around, we see him in Arasaka Counter-Intel trying to earn his stripes but he’s taking focus enhancers and cracking from stress because he hates it. Being in the dirt with his team was where he was at home, being stuck in ‘Saka tower playing office politics is tearing him apart. When he gets shitcanned and hooks up with Jackie, he’s back to doing what he loves; low-visibility operations, except now he gets to do it on his terms. May not be able to call in an AV or have the corp behind him, but he’s back where he wants to be and he loves every single second of it.
My V is the most indecisive person in Night City.
Every response my Corpo V makes from his life path to a fellow corpo is either implying or outright flipping a middle finger.

I play with the survival mod installed so my V is a fiend for black coffee and dark chocolate(the combination of the two can put off a days worth of food, water, and sleep pretty much). I’m such a caffeine addict that I store frozen lattes in the trunk of my car. I have literally spent 25k Eddies on coffee in my current play through. My V is also a massive insomniac as a result of all this.
