Phantom Liberty was the first and last expansion for Cyberpunk 2077

My sentiment exactly, having to say goodbye when we never really got to say hello. It’s gonna be a long time before we ever sniff a sequel

Honestly, I truly don’t see how another expansion could fit into the game. The believability of the story is already stretched thin with this expansion, as V can accomplish more in a few weeks (counting all gigs and side missions) then most people do in their entire life.

The only way to do it, without making the story feel silly, would be to either set the expansion after the endings or during the adventures with Jackie. CDPR said both were never considered.

Besides, I’m not a huge fan of Phantom Liberty anyway, and it’s clear that it was handled by a different team of writers.

Blame the investors forcing them to launch on inferior console hardware, which caused them to gut them game. Then, everyone who blasted them online to the point of sending death threats.

Its a damn shame. I only just got into Witcher 3 with the ps5 release and i wish there was more.
Now ive finally gotten really into Cyberpunk, have 90 hrs and can see the end and really wish there was more to look forward to 🙁

It’s okay, I’d rather them just work on another full game instead of another smaller expansion

  6. I just wish we had a “post game” play state, we wouldn’t even need to play with V, just a “have fun with all those skills” mode with procedural content. Maybe a mode to play as member of one factions.
