its easy to criticize coach fred for offering that v throws the fight with razor but keep in mind the guy has been around.
the worst part of it is that he doesnt believe in you, but that doesnt make him a bad person or coach, on the contrary. he thinks he is protecting you from getting hurt or killed. this is probably one of the most important parts of being a boxing coach, you dont just throw your students into a ring where theyre going to get hurt, they wont learn anything, it breaks their confidence and youre starting from scratch again. you need your students to win fights.
V comes out of fucking nowhere and rises to the point of being a boxing champion in like a week. honestly the entire thread of the game makes absolutely no sense lol i cant blame him for being completely baffled, but V is just straight up built different.

I was going to throw the fight until Vik told me how proud he was and how much the fight and the sport meant to him. I can’t throw after that.
I didn’t realize arm cybernetics enhanced you unarmed damage, I thought they were just weapons like the mantis blades. So yeah, beating razor with unupgraded arms was really annoying. I’m no fan of Fred but I told him I was going to try and win from the start. Screwing him over by lying is kinda fucked up lol

Also anybody who found Razor way easier than Rhino? Rhino whooped my ass like 5 times but I beat Razor first try and he was pretty damn easy.
I said yes then talked to the little girl who dude killed in a fight. Got mad and beat the shit out of him.
