It worked. Another solution would be to get a handsaw and cut the metal so the card fits. It might look less janky.
i once used screwdriver to bend side panel so that i can fin my cpu cooler.

It’s is all well and good but if you can’t afford a case to put a 3070 in I don’t think you should be putting a 3070. There is so much more that needs updating in those PC than the GPU.
If no else has noticed it he has 1! PCI power plug connected to it. 1 stick of RAM and the stock cooler.

A case is basicaly a metal frame. It does not have that much things that can break, mostly it bends. You can do whatever is nesessary with it, if it does not deminish its primary function of protecting and holding PC parts that are fragile.

HDD caddies like these are usually attached to the metal frame by rivets and/or screws. Just use a drill to get rid of these rivets. No need for hammer time.
