I feel like I need to share some tips with people to know how to improve their gameplay in Zombie Royale because it seems a lot of people struggle with it and whilst I do think it’s hard, it’s a lot easier with these few steps…
1. Open medicine cabinets. Every single medicine cabinet and most loot crates you open will drop an antiviral for zombies to pick up. I’ve spectated *soooooo* many teammates run by medicine cabinets with one more antiviral required to respawn as a human.
2. Stay together. As soon as two or more zombies rush you, you’re dead. If you stay in a group then it’s much harder for zombies to get you down and out.
3. Zombies can stay underwater forever. They don’t have an air meter and can stay underwater for as long as they want so if you play on Vondel, take a pistol with you in your loadout!
4. There are several spots in Vondead where you can hide under the water between boats where you can barely be seen. Use them as it means other humans can’t see you and it will reduce visibility for zombies.
5. Antivirals can be seen through walls / floors / doors and any other surface as a zombie. They glow orange and whislt they can appear small, if you look on your minimap, you should be able to pick them out.
6. [Hide in hell](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmvSgQTsOpg). Open the portal and you can spend most of the game in their (in some instances the entire game!). If you drop together as a team, open it up and then you can guard the portal from the other side and survive much longer.
7. You can hide in the Oasis bunker entrance on Al Mazrah (Night) when the circle starts over Oasis / Rohan Oil and the circle will stay in that area for most of the game. It’s not as safe as the portal to the Butcher but is still a pretty good place.
8. Stay in covered vehicles where you can. Zombies can still wreck the vehicles but it means you can roam in the open for longer, especially if you have bad weapons.
9. You can stay in the gas for as long as you want as a zombie so if you want to collect souls, go to various other parts of the map and open up boxes to collect souls without worrying about being killed by other players.
10. Completing a finishing move on a player (human) as a zombie will automatically make you human again whether you have four antivirals or not. If you can somehow get behind a player, do a finishing move to come back as a human. Riot shileds do seem to protect against this though so pick your fights carefully.

For the Undead runes large decal(win without dying) you MUST wait until after the credits roll completely and the game automatically kicks you to the lobby for it. You can die in the pre lobby and be downed in match, just not die and wait in the end of match results until the game kicks you to the lobby.
