RTX 4080 because there are far too many 4090s where their shit tier special connector gets 0.1mm loose and melts the fucking GPU.
Edit: I thought the 4080s still came with 8 pin connectors. Nvidia really hates their consumers.

Of course 4090 if price is of no concern.

In spite of the connector issues I’d go 4090. Or 4080 over the 7900xtx. The 4080 performs very similar to the 7900xtx with options for either fsr3.0 or dlss3.5, improved ray tracing, better 3d graphics performance for rendering in most applications. Since price isn’t a factor you do get more perks with nvidia cards. Amd has nothing to compete with the 4090.
Surprise-Fiat
Obviously the 4090 which is the better card
Camry Vs Ferrari type question lmao
Blacksad9999
The price is the only benefit a 7900xtx has VS a 4080. If price is of no concern, a 4090 mops the floor with the XTX. It’s basically an entire generation ahead of it.
The 4090 can do every single thing better than the XTX, and it can do many things that the XTX simply can’t.
asd316X
4090 is just better in basically everything compared to the 7900xtx, except the price
Apoxyre8
4090 just better.

if money is no concern then why is this even a question? also ignore the clowns repeating “melting connector bro”, the 4090 and others has had the updated recessed sense pins connectors available for months and just avoid cable mod 90-degree connector although they’ve also updated [that](https://youtu.be/2UPdeFEy0zA?si=q2YeXE7vyL72Px6v)

You know the answer, you’re just either a) flexing or b) lying.
Grouchy_Advantage739
Ignore any idiots pissing themselves over the connector, it’s a very rare thing to happen (0.1% of 4090 buyers). Idk if this sub has dementia or is just jealous, but a lot of people here act as if every 4090 is literally bursting into flames.

4090, this shouldn’t even be a debate in all honesty

4090. Better performance, stability, and efficiency. All new FEs come with the new connector so melting is not an issue anymore.
4090 mops the floor with anything else that exists now
b1ue_jellybean
The biggest issue with the 4090 is the price, if that doesn’t matter then it’s easily the best choice.

AMD fan here. If price is no concern NVIDA all the way. lol Simply put AMD is a great option but be prepared for troubleshooting and all that comes with it. It’s not at the level of ARC Cards (also a fan of those) but to say it’s as simple as plug and play would be a lie. NVIDA at this point in time is simply wining in that regard and that’s a big selling point for people. However AMD and Intel are on the rise and all we can do is support in whatever way we can because competition is good for the market.

4090 hands down. Rat tracing is worth it

I’d buy Nvidia itself if the price is no concern.
MorningFresh123
4090 no contest
marksona
Because the 4090 is the best GPU in the market right now.
S58Life
Obviously the 4090 lol, it’s the currently strongest GPU on the market
Mars_Bear2552
4090 any day.

As an owner of a 4090, and a prior owner of a 6900xt I say go Nvidia. Me personally, even if the 7900xtx was free and the 4090 was full retail price I would still go 4090. Why? It isn’t because I am incredibly wealthy, it is because the hours spent troubleshooting issues for my 6900xt exceeded the value of 4090 when I placed a monetary value on my time.
AMD cards cost less money, but more time. Even assuming the performance was exactly the same, the time cost of an AMD card is not worth it to me.
What is time cost? Time cost is the hours you spend fixing issues for games, software, programs, or hardware. For me that time cost was over 40 hours per year for the 2 years I owned the 6900xt. That is 80 hours of my time, and that amount of time is worth way more than a 4090.
How much time have spent on my 4090 in the 6 months I have owned it? Less than an hour, and that was to troubleshoot a crash to desktop related to G-Sync and windowed mode in Starfield. Mostly due to me not having a G-Sync certified monitor. It has been a breath of fresh air not fearing for my PC every new windows or software update.

If price isn’t concern; get the 4090 hands down.
Why: current fastest gpu on the market.
