That sort of drift seems intentional. Maybe hes just auto joining and ties a rubber band around his joysticks so he wont get kicked and getting XP from just surviving not getting kills. Mans a true bot!
This is intentional. On the latest update the game started kicking out players for inactivity, even in resurgence. In the past, a player could keep dying and coming back without moving anything without being kicked out. No longer the case. We will see a lot of these new “AFK” now.
This happens when your controller dies sometimes aswell
