To this day, Zetsubou outro still holds a special place in my heart. Almost everything about it was perfect. The conversation between the two Takeos, the symbolic sendoff, the accompanying score… All that solidifies Takeo as a true character and no longer a caricature. He’s no longer just the stereotypical Asian guy with a sword.
The intro to Gorod may be the most badass thing I have ever seen in my life.
Tag der Toten outro, hearing everyone’s wishes at the end was just so sad knowing that they could never really have them.
