  1. And, on top of that, Nvidia costs more per frame. But, to be completely fair, DLSS is better (no shit, it’s ML-based unlike FSR), Nvidia cards have better RT performance, and better performance and support in heavy apps like Blender and such. Also, Enhanced Sync is nothing new, it’s just VSync with LIFO-queued triple buffering, and Nvidia has it under “Fast Sync” name.

Frame Generation in every game would be cool, some of the other stuff like Radeon Boost, Enhanced Sync, Smart Access Memory in my experience didn’t do much that was noticeable. All the other stuff I don’t care about.

My biggest issue is the terrible experience I had with every Radeon card I had since AMD bought ATi. I went through 3 different generations of AMD Radeons (each try seperated by 1 or 2 generations), last one being the RX 5700xt, and my experience was absolutely terrible, I suspect it’s due to their drivers. Crashes, poor performance, graphical glitches, and others, were frequent and consistent for me.

After 3 times I decided I have lost complete trust in AMD video cards. The other 2 times doing research it was always “oh the drivers are better, it’s all good now” only to find that wasn’t true at all. Meanwhile every single Nvidia Card I have ever owned has been a great experience, with crashes, performance issues, graphical glitches being very rare.

So I am at the point where I would rather pay more for Nvidia simply due to the better experience.

ok but counting HYPR-RX as an actual feature is stupid

it just combines like 3 features into 1 button, and only one of those features is actually worth using (RSR)

  4. 737Max-Impact

What in the cherry picked fangirl bullshit is this?

  5. FAILNOUGHT

I like the streaming feature of nvidia cards and their cuda for windows

  6. siralmasy

Anti lag vs Nvidia reflex makes me want to sell my 6700xt and get a NVIDIA gpu

  7. SweetFlexZ

I hate fanboys, just buy whatever the heck you want ffs, don’t be ridiculous…

I’m going to say this again, for some reason the vast majority of people but Nvidia and that FACT makes uncomfortable some AMD fanboys.

  8. You also forgot about nvenc. The encoder from AMD cannot be compared with Nvidia.

  9. Eat-my-entire-asshol

Ill buy whichever gpu tops the fps charts. Just so happens its nvidia every gen

  10. MisguidedColt88

Lmao. I love cherry picked lists. Especially given the top 3 features you show significantly favour nvidia.

AMD is better performance per dollar, but dont lie to yourself and claim AMD has better software. It just doesn’t.

  11. ldontgeit

The hypocrisy level of this post is over 9000.

Tell me you an AMD fanboy without telling me you an AMD fanboy.

Conveniently, he just “forgot” to mention:

    1. DLLS upscaler is light years better
    2. Reflex doesnt get you banned in online games
    3. Ray tracing perfomance is 1 to 2 galaxies superior
    4. No ray reconstruction?
    5. A driver that actualy works?

i get it, you actually need a dose of copium everyday, good for you, just know you may be convincing yourself and the rest of your kind, a minority, of something that you actually know aint true. But if it makes you sleep better, keep doing it.

  12. TalkWithYourWallet

    Devils in the detail

AFMF – Has more negatives than positives

Undervolting/Overclocking/Metrics – Aterburner/RTSS is more popular on both sides and simpler

    Modern UI – Personal preference

Hyper-RX – Combination of existing features

It’s not that AMD don’t have worthwhile features, the problem is that DLSS trumps them all for gaming, and CUDA trumps all for productivity

Then there’s the antilag+ issues, which will set back their reputation as much as the RX 5000 series did

  13. SameRandomUsername

Cringe at the made up features to fill up a table.

  14. multiwirth_

I don’t know why but this screams fanboyism to me.
    It’s not even accurate.

Where’s raytracing, AI upscaling for video, nvenc, nvidia frame generation, nvidia reflex low latency for example?

  15. HydratedVegetableOil

Every day I feel like I’m getting closer and closer to becoming the userbenchmark people. The AMD bootlicking in this sub is getting ridiculous.

  16. No_Interaction_4925

Nvidia does have ReBAR. And its not special with Ryzen cpu’s at all between AMD or Nvidia regardless. You do most likely have to force ReBAR on in Profile Inspector though.

  17. Vegetable_Safety_331

My Rasta Performance is so high I smoke 3 Joints/Hour

  18. Fun_Can6825

Man this AMD vs Nvidia shit is getting outta hand

Can we all just agree that both have pros and cons
And you can choose whichever graphics you want if you have the money, like damn

  19. KaosFitzgerald

Man. People hating on what they don’t have, always.

  20. MHWGamer

Amd clearly has more Xs in their product names and we all know that this is the actual important factor

  21. xodius80

Idk but i can game and work on Nvidia platform, amd on Adobe, DaVinci and other multimedia applications just suck

  22. I still a newbie to gpus, and I’m looking to upgrade from an gtx 1660super. I’m looking for a rtx 4060, mainly because I heard that Radeon drivers are pretty bad.. is that true? Should I look also for a radeon card? If yes, which one?

  23. Rain_2_0

Idk. I just buy every new Nvidia generation. Had the 2080, 3090, 4090. DLSS and RT is just superior on Nvidia cards. Most people will not change their clockspeed of their AMD gpu or fps limiter when idle. Half of the items on the AMD feature list are very specific and will be ignored by the average gamer.

  24. Lilharlot16sdaddy

Nvidia is just better on the high end and in RT which is why I went that way and AMD drivers do tend to have more problems.

  25. supercano3

” my graphics card is better😡”

“NO my graphics card is better!😡”

    😮‍💨

  26. Destroyer69-420

Crazy that AMD has all of that yet nvidea is still just better 🤣
