I had the BFG factory OC version of the FX5700, it literally burned itself out within the warranty period and got me a free upgrade to the 6700 😁 fond memories.
I wish I could remember what I was using back then.

I still have my dual 9800GT cards from 08 in a box. They were from my first custom build(paid a guy on Craigslist) and I consider them my “back up” cards if I ever need them. Or, I just can’t let them go, I’m not sure.

I have FX5900ultra. I purchased the Radeon 9800pro first but fried it with my poor-quality unbranded PSU. I was stupid/unenlightened back in the day, sigh.

Looks like you get s-video, DI, and VGA, so three I/O ports on a mid-range card from this era.
Holy shit I would have been super stoked to get 256mb card, it would have been an upgrade from my ATi 9800 Pro 128mb
Crazy how cool old boxes were. Now they are all quite boring unless you overpay by around $800 for a specific anime version
Can we bring back retro PCs and retro online pvp?
shame its a lame edition */j*
