I only keep the boxes of parts I may resell later since it just makes shipping easier

I usually just throw all of the bits into the motherboard box and keep that. It’s about the right size for leftover bits, and keeping everything else is just a waste of space. Also, the motherboard box is an easy way to identify which machine goes with which set of spare parts (since I don’t have any non-identical machines with identical motherboards).

Only until the warranty expires then it’s bye bye.

Never. Register my products immediately, snap pics of serial numbers, then right into the trash. I finished my build Friday, boxes were thrown out today after testing all weekend to verify everything is in good working order.
Noobeaterz
I got all my boxes in a box.
GrammarNaziii
I always keep them just in case I’m going to resell them. Plus it’s nice looking back at my old purchases.
CastorrTroyyy
Yes. In case of resell or move
Enreekay
My question to you is why? I tried, but realized it just takes up space. And if I end selling the device I’ll just use an Amazon box.
TristanTheRobloxian0

Nope. I stuff all the extra shit in my PSU case with the cables and throw them all out. I have kept my current gpu case since my old one is in there.

My wife looked in our cupboard last night and said “I think it’s been long enough for you to get rid of all those boxes now”.
I’m like “but babe, resell value”.
EdocKrow
I keep a lot of them.
ZerotheWanderer
I keep the boxes that are more specialized in size and more fragile. Mobo and GPU, you can just keep the plastic holder for the CPU and ball it up in foam and it’d be fine, same for RAM.
