Before this:
Black Ops 3 was ARS$900.
Black Ops 2 was ARS$600
Black Ops 1 was ARS$300
WW2 was ARS$900
VANGUARD was ARS$8000 (Was already a lot, especially for Vanguard…)
MW Remake was ARS$9000
I bought MW2 Remake at only ARS$5000 (Which wasn’t cheap by all means, but it was affordable to some degree)
Let me remind you, the value of the dolar in Argentina (officially) oscilated arround the 300~400 ARS$, As of today 10/23/23 its value is ARS$368.03.
You might say “well then that isn’t so bad, each game costed you guys a couple of bucks”,
Until you realize what the economic state of Argentina is.
Minimum wage here is ARS$132000 (358 US$)
The main reason why prices are so cheap on steam here is because we just can’t afford sh*t.
Now take MK 11, a fairly new game came out same year as MW Remake and it sure will be as expensive or more right..? ARS$ 4000!? Let’s not forget it has a 90% discount on it, leaving it at ARS$400.
I’m glad I didn’t buy DLC Warfare III

No es solo activision bro, capcom por ejemplo tambien le subio el precio al re4 antes que saliera porque se dieron cuenta que habia bocha de extranjeros que se ponian la vpn argentina para comprar los juegos mas baratos.
Es un problema general esto. Yo ni soy argentino y tambien me rompe la pija que hagan eso.
