Yeah I noticed this too, a complete ripoff 😭

I never even got this mission or maybe it’s delayed? With a corpo life path you can force the chick to give you a hefty discount on it.

Who cares? This game gives us eddies far faster than we can spend them. By the end I had well over a million

  4. RegT1996

Yeh there’s so many gigs where you have to spend your money then when you get paid for completing gig, you’re actually losing money doing the gig

  5. Well it’s Cyberpunk and there are no happy endings, so just shoot her in the fucking head with a 12 gauge and you’re golden.

  6. RevinSOR

I had so many Eddie’s I didn’t even notice. I don’t do missions for rewards unless it gets me an iconic or something. I do them for the experience of the mission.

  7. Scaling is broken. Some of the body requirements to get into some areas grow as you go so even as you level up you’re locked out of parts of the game because you’re chasing body stats.

Like imagine if doors irl got thicker and thicker over weeks…

    Pretty soon we’re gonna need a 3.0

  8. a shotgun round is less than 37000 šŸ˜‰

That much eddies really shouldn’t matter at level 50 and you know consider it doing a favor for a friend

  10. LordMarvic

You’re not supposed to buy it😬

  11. Piankhy444

I paid around 5,000 for it and got back way more than double I think. Of course I used a corpo dialogue for a discount.

  12. emersonsjulianne

I just kill her and take the book without spending an eddie.

  13. Yup. This is why I don’t buy it from her now. And I don’t care for her attitude.

  14. It cost me 50k, the fucker gave me 8500 on completion.

  15. Offline_NL

It’s only 37k, you’ll get that back easily by selling some guns to vending machines.
I do agree it seems a bit off though.

  16. GlumCardiologist3

With corpo V you get it for 8 k if im not mistaken

  17. AMS_GoGo

Yeah I saw this too but thankfully was rich enough where I didn’t care

Definitely a compete ripoff tho lol

Lotta people missing the point in the comments. Doesn’t matter if the money is easily recouped, it just rips you out of the world and that’s a valid complaint. It’s broken, it should get fixed. Simple as.

I noticed this as well; immediately reloaded and just knocked the girl out and stole whatever it was you were supposed to buy. Felt that only knocking her out after she attacks you is V’s good deed for that gig, lol

All of the scaling done in 2.0 has been negative to some degree imo.

This, then there’s skill checks that you come back to once you meet the requirements, only to find the requirements are now higher, some people enjoy the enemy scaling while others preferred being able to choose between different threat levels.

I just feel like if you remove ā€œscalingā€ from 2.0, you lose nothing and gain so much.

“I’m feeling generous today and I’m willing to take a hit”
    El Generalissimo V, probably

  22. Thought something was off when Nix said heā€˜ll give us double what we paid for and then we end up with less.

  23. Nooterly

Damn, I didn’t realise that guy was there at the time of this mission, as well.

I forget his name, you deliver his car during a gig.

  24. someasianboi19

I think worst part is rewards. Like, they are so little for most of the time.

  25. dbrasco_

As a Sandivestan player I don’t even bother with this quest

  26. This is what I absolutely hated about 2.0 update, the vendors jacked up the price, some missions jacked up the price, yet there are still gigs and side quests that pay you pre 2.0 amounts of Eddies, which is absolutely pathetic.

Even funnier is one of the endings in phantom liberty whereby president Myers says “the federal government ain’t cheap” and then pays V 5000eddies. Well clearly the federal government is cheap as hell and this is I’m assuming pre 2.0 pay.
