  1. I just dont fucking get the point of subtick. 128 tick csgo was perfect. No complaints from anyone. How much more expensive are 128 tick servers really ? Valve is making billions off of cs i just cannot and will not believe that they couldnt afford these servers.

  2. Yeah the biggest problem letting pro players play the game. And also deleting CSGO for CS2 is kinda stupid. Run CS2 let people pick what they want to play and it will get better over time. CSGO was a shithole at the start to. Almost every game is these days. Give us back CSGO please.

  3. Can we stop comparing the launch of CSGO with the launch of CS2? Can we stop acting like valve didn't have the entire polished CSGO as a base to make CS2 and that CSGO had to be made basically from scratch? CS2 is fine, the only problem is VALVE BEING FUCKING STUBBORN. 128 tick was fine in CSGO and everybody liked it. Even valorant launched with 128 tick and nobody complained about hit reg, not even on beta. CS2 could be polished over time like CSGO was if it was on simple 128 tick, but valve have to be stubborn and give us SUB-SHIT-TICK THAT DOESN'T WORK and that can't be polished because you can't really polish a turd.

  4. ı said it before ı'll say it again for some reason CS2 seems to play better for me just straight up better like my shots connect more somehow only problem being tracers being weird and not good indication to use for spray control. but hey ı haven't play CS2 or even CSGO a lot for these past months with college and such so what do ı know.

  5. The R8 Skins don't have bullets in them, and you reload air also. This is since limited beta, still haven't fixed it. Please esports, write to valve

  6. 5:01 That tweet is absolute cope level nonsense. We're supposed to believe the character model being shot at is moving on one time line but the crosshair is on another? No, not buying it. That is clearly desync'd hitboxes. You're not actually spectating from a players PoV at any point. Instead your seeing mashed up nonsense the server comes up with when trying to compensate for varying ping rates between players. For it to be this noticeable on LAN means the problem is huge. On LAN there should never be more than 20ms difference between corresponding frames on separate computers.

    It happens online too. I have killed and been killed around corners so many times it's not even remotely debatable whether it's happening or not or what the source of the problem is. It clearly is happening and it looks EXACTLY like that clip. There has been many instances where I clearly missed, yet scored a kill. It's even worse when you start looking at head shots. They are way too easy to get now.

  7. I think part of the issue is that CSGO brought in a lot of new players or made a lot of players stick around longer than previous versions. Like I played a lil bit of CSS Deathmatch before playing CSGO, initially in Casual when they changed the Negev into the laser beam it is in like 2016, then again in a proper competitive sense in 2021, so I don't really know how CSGO was at launch, or how rough the transition away from CS 1.6 was, and I'm willing to bet that a lot of people are in the same boat. Like they have MAYBE played Source, but likely didn't play (or don't remember) GO on launch. Of course there's going to be the players who have played CS since it was just a mod, and I'm not trying to discredit them – I just think that CSGO has brought in a lot more players due to both its longevity and it's competitive popularity, so these "new" people (like me) didn't experience other periods where CS was in a rough spot.

  8. Believe it or not Valorant is in sooooo much a worse state with hacker and bots. Wayyyy worse than CS2 is facing right now. It's basically unplayable, quite literally against them!! Amd thanks to yet another massive ban wave in Escape from Tarkov the rage hacking and botting is at a historical high with over 800k players leaving the game in just the last month alone!!

  10. CS2 is way beyond than ready and not just for pro play but also just in general…valve has made so much from CS yet they care so little about fixing the game…except graphics almost everything is same as CSGO maybe even worse…feels bad to see CS2 disappointment for CS streamer n pro players

  11. I like most of the changes. I understand the game needs refining. The only thing that i really dislike is the stupid smokey tracer effect when you fire a sniper rifle. Its a rifle. It shoots bullets. not rockets. I hope they either remove that effect or at least give us an option to disable it on the client side.

You know this has happened in the past before, with valve releasing a half finished product which was TF2 competitive mode, they had mountains upon mountains of useful feedback, plenty of time to implement such feedback, yet they still rushed the final product out the door. It's like as if the entire valve headquarters are just filled with procrastinators who just rush as much as they can before the deadline and submit trash. Lets just hope they don't end up doing the same thing they did to TF2 which was left it to rot and die.

  13. It's absolutely hilarious to see all the people moaning a out subtick. It is a great way to advance the game. Currently we are just seeing some problems in the systems around it that need some work. Examples being client side animations of the guns and the observer.

  14. Its good that the bomb radius is high again…otherwise everyone will save next to it again

  15. As much as I hate to say it, the answer is no. S1mple is right. The game needs a few more months of updates at least to be polished enough for pro play that were used to.

  16. I think giving sub tick more of a chance to grow is a good idea, If Valve can fix the syncing and and other problems with sub tick. Then maybe sub tick could be a lot better. Just increasing tick rate isn't going to fix sub tick if the sub kick system is broken anyways.

  17. i see a lot of ppl saying csgo was shit when it came out, and yes, it had problems, but there were 2 major differences, the game was complete with no missing features, the game wasn't pulling in billions in skins every month, i think expecting a finished product is the least is not even something you have to question, but i guess its 2023 and complete games at release are a thing of the past

  18. Probably the worst ghosts I've seen in a competitive shooter. Some of the stuff I've seen are 2-3 seconds off.
