Baldurs Gate 3 is def the best game I’ve played in the last few years, but to pretend Larian isn’t a AAA studio feels dishonest. They had around 450 people working on the game, with studios spread across 6 countries to allow them to work effectively 24hrs/day on the game. I dont think there’s anyway their budget was small enough to be considered less than a AAA game.

Baldurs gate 3 is definitely the best game I played in a long time. The only game I really, really looked forward to playing every day since the witcher 3.

If it wasn’t for its performance, i think Jedi Survivor would have been one of the best games of the year. I don’t think it belongs quite in the same category as micro-transaction-riddled Diablo 4 and the like.
