i7 870 and a 6900xt, no bottleneck because i played l4d at 1440p. but initally i kept the 300w psu originally, and THAT bottlenecked my gpu until i got a better psu. but even this cpu/gpu combo didnt bottleneck me because of the games i played at higher graphics
then recently i had to move some games from my hdd to my ssd so that audio and textures would stop stuttering, thats another bottleneck.
ram can be a bottleneck too

I’ve seen people literally pair a 4090 and a intel core duo or a pentium and still get decent performance on games, bottlenecking literally doesnt matter unless you have hardware that’s more than 10 years apart and has abysmal performance, as seen by people still rocking 780tis and modern CPUs, or a 2700k and a modern GPU.

I built my first gaming PC with a massive amount of good recommendations from both this sub and buildapc sub.
Never used tiktok for PC recommendations and never will.
