I had a 212 Evo that I used for my 4690k. It truly was a beast of a cooler for the money that it cost (at the time I think it was around ~25€). I swapped it for a Thermalright True Spirit 140 Power around a year later and while I did see an improvement, it wasn’t enough to justify double the money. However, the Thermalright came in handy when I replaced my 4690k with a 8700k.

Not related, but is the True 120 still usable these days? That was a beast back then.
