Heat rises much faster than you might think. Some passive cooled systems have been shown blowing paper around with no fans. I think it will be more than fine provided you have enough active pressure to ensure the heat doesn’t try back feeding into the system. I would wager a high temp system might move enough air to feel it moving with your hands. Run a benchmark for 5-10 minutes, especially if it’s an air cooler, and see what your temps are. Cinebench is free. Use Hardware Monitor to monitor power and temps. For my system (i9-10900K on NVMe Drives) Windows Defender full system scan is a borderline benchmark, pinning my system to full.

You could make/print a duct to keep the air away from the cables, that would also let you move it closer. Otherwise it should be fine, fun your hottest game and stick your hand down there.

If the fans are in correctly, the exhaust fans could be an inch away from the wall and be fine. It’s the intake fans that need fresh air. So this looks fine

I’d say no but it is probably fine. You could get few degrees cooler by spacing it more from the wall I think.
Just stick you hand in this space after a long gaming session and check if the air is absurdly hot.

Long as your cables aren’t immediately touching the wall as they bend down from the port plugged into, that’s generally enough clearance.

That’s how my PC has been for 13-14 years. This is also with only 2 case fans working and 1 huge CPU fan… I really need to replace my case that I’ve had for almost 60% of my life.
