I’ve been researching how to get started with undervolting my 5700x to reduce temps and not lose a bunch of performance and I’ve noticed my “default” PPT value in Ryzen master appears to be 1000w?
Most of the other guides and videos I’ve seen for various 5000 or 7000 cpus show motherboard defaults setting PPT to 150 to a few hundred but ryzen master is showing the following after setting PBO Limits to “motherboard” in the BIOS: https://imgur.com/HLJValG so I am wondering if there’s some sort of issue here.
I can’t see the applied defaults in the BIOS because when I set PBO Limits to motherboard, it hides PPT, TDC, EDC fields.
This is an ASRock B550M ITX / ac board

Most boards will use very large values for PPT, EDC and TDC when PBO is enabled but left at Auto or Motherboard to effectively set everything to unlimited, allowing the CPU to balance power management.
Pbo isn’t undervolting just fyi. If you want Max perf motherboard limits is NOT the way to go
