I’ve been out of the custom PC world for a while now so I’m lost on what’s the best.
Looking to get a decent gaming PC for my kids, main uses will be Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program, and 3d development in Blender and Unity.
Found a used setup on FB Marketplace for $350 – is this enough and is it a good price?

Hello has79, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

If that’s legit I would say it’s def a fair price for a start pc

  3. Good price especially with the two monitors

  4. If it really comes with the two monitors, it’s a good deal. Maybe not the best for 3d but def. enough for Minecraft and Kerbal at 1080p

What a based seller. Good price for the specs

Honestly without the monitors I would say it’s a fair deal. With the monitors it’s a great deal. It’s more than enough for Minecraft and light gaming. You’ll probably be able to play more demanding games albeit on low settings which a kid doesn’t care about too much to be honest (assuming 14 and under). Just make sure it’s legit and you can collect it

  7. As long as you can test it in person…

And what the hell is up with 48gb ram? That line makes the whole thing look weird/fishy, lol.

Really good deal imo, there’s room to upgrade to a used 5800x3d too.

I had a pc with the same specs for 4 years, decent price for this setup even without the monitors, still absolutely fine for most titles on 1080P and definately high refresh rate gaming on 1080p in Valorant, csgo, Smite, Dota, LoL or Overwatch and other esports titles. If 350 is your max budget then this will be a very good purchase in my opinion, enjoy!

  10. that would be a good deal at 700-1k$, let alone 350$ wtf, also wtf just because you go to colleague doesn’t mean u dont need a pc, hopefully he got a laptop instead or something.
