There was a comment made by a guy who said that he couldn’t get the 13th gen because it wasn’t “strong” enough, and he had to get the 14th gen. People are crazy.

Nah we’re just on a “tick” generation, which means just a small incremental improvement. It’s the “tock” generations where the bigger architecture leaps happen.
… Or is it the other way around? And is it supposed to be the odd or even generations that are the bigger leaps? Ok maybe just forget the whole thing!
