Once I remove the window, I place the window flat on the seat of my chair.
Posting it again. Sure it’s not tile this time, but still hard surface.

Local cutom tempered glass shop that makes glass shelves should be able to replicate your side panel. Just save any extra plastic or metal pieces that were attached to it.
