The TTK disparity between the ranges is absolutely nuts in this game to the point you’ll kill / die straight up instantly under 10 – 15 meters but its borderline pointless to take any fights above 40 meters.
Compare this to Warzone 1 where a gun like the Kilo would be 9 bullets up to 35m and 11 afterwards (it hit for 28 and 23), the TTK consistency was always there and when they finally added the 3rd damage drop off, this 11 went down to 14 when it dealt 18 damage after around 50m. At this point the gun was practically unusable at range.
In Warzone 2 a lot of the weapons will go from 8 bullets to kill to 15 after the same amount of range because there will be basically 5 damage drop offs within the range values, this has a huge impact on gunfight consistency and the flow of the game turns much slower paced as people that shoot first up close will probably win the gunfight. While avoiding any gunfight above “ideal” range.
Compare this to the current state of the Hemlok. It will kill in 9 shots out to 23 meters, 10 from 24 – 30 (whats the point of this?), 12 from 31 – 46 and 14 above 48m. This is wildly inconsistent and not something that translates well into actual gameplay. I honestly think this game would be better with 2 or 3 damage drop offs like Warzone 1 instead of 4 or 5
This is just feedback to the game flow and its not “being negative”, its an observation from playing both games extensively.

The only way I could see this being feasible is if you only had one plate in you, that’s not typical at all.
