It’s just a refresh of the existing chips.
Nvidia did it with the “SUPER” series in the 2000 gen.

OK, that still doesn’t make 14th gen worth it. When you have 13th gen, why bother? Only the i7 is worth it and that’s if you can cool the darn thing.

Seeing how everything but the 14700k is pretty much the same as 13th gen, it would have been shitty to increase the price.

Hmm I’m building a new PC. Putting a 4090 in it and coming all the way up from 4790k. Should I just get a 13th gen at a lower price point now lol
