Well that’s hard I love David and I love the creator of cyberpunk especially his fucking voice it’s gody but isnt Morgan black hand is suppose to be a version of Mike as far as role playing wise so having Morgan black hand is like having the creator of cyberpunk so Morgan for sure lmao

David has enough edge to be similar to Johnny but he has less life experience, so the dynamic would be different. It could be interesting, and they even alluded to it in the anime.

Is David a legend? Legends are those who make a name for themselves and go with a big boom. But from the quests you can see that V, a fellow Merc, doesn’t know about Martinez and also it’s not known that and how he passed away, Falco even hides the truth.
The very first time I played the game, I thought the Relic would be kind of a technical version of the heart from Dishonored with Jackie’s voice.
After playing the game more I realized that I was completely wrong about where they were going with the chip. Also Jackie would hate the effects on V if he was on it.
I was so sad when I realized how soon Jackie would be gone.
Not David. Sorry but that boy was far too impulsive and ignorant, I’d be at his throat the entire game. Johnny is a snarky fucker, but at least he knows some shit.
Why David is even an option ?
I mean, base V is older, more knowlegable about near everything and more experienced than him, in every lifepath.

How about different engrams for different life paths:
Corpo V – Saburo Arasaka. Ending up taking over Arasaka
Street Kid – Morgan Blackhand. Pretty much what we have now.
Nomad V – Richard Night. Become mayor of Night City.

it would have been interesting if you had both Johnny and Jackie on the relic, and have them act as a sort of morality system for the game.
It’s pretty obvious that the original game had something in the works for your “idols” – Johnny Silverhand, Morgan Blackhand, and Saburo Arasaka. I think this was all swept aside when they got Keanu Reeves as Silverhand. As much as i love him as Silverhand, i think they shot themselves in the foot with it.
I would’ve killed for a game where you could actually be an evil corpo guided by Saburo Arasaka, slowly earning his respect and working together.
Having Blackhand stuck in your head would suck a little if you think about it. The man was known to take out people non-lethally, so imagine each time you killed someone he would comment with disgust
Morgan would be odd seeing as he’s not dead. It would be fun spider man moment running across the real Morgan with fake Morgan in your head.
