Nah. I think the fight underwhelms because V is maxed out by the time you get Smasher. Regular schmoe V vs. Smasher could be interesting though.

Any change for 2.0? They definitely upgraded that Sasquatch lady that the netwatch guy hired. Fight took more than 6 minutes and she was kicking my ass most of it lol with the added dash mechanic holy hell it was so much fun.

At max difficulty with full gold chrome and blunt weapon build witth 1000 armor, his rockets was still one shotting me. The fight took like 3 minutes tho. still very short.

I’m sad because my level 60 V didn’t struggle against the strongest boss in the game. I mean, I have more cyberware than him, but I kinda expected a challenge, not a dude who can’t handle electrified axes and multiple knives being thrown at him, also missiles and every armament known to man, except for nukes.
But then again I get it, he wasn’t ready for me, as wasn’t every single enemy in the game.

Is V an actual canon character? Cause if V can kill smasher while being 30 mins away from death, coughing blood with minimal cyberware (the trailer V only used a cyberdeck and gun it seems) then smasher couldnt be such a threat anyway. All that combatchrome for nothing?

I think most people misunderstand this boss fight.. He’s not supossed to be super difficult because hes there to show how powerful V has gotten.. Johnny Silverhand, David Martinez are examples of what happend I’d you take on smasher before you are ready.. Part of Vs legend is how she was the only one able to make smasher look like a bitch..
