So what your sayin is you have a 3080 to sell for 5 dollars? I’ll buy it!

  2. NoToe5096

I did that. Promptly returned it for a 4090. Good luck!

  3. I made that exact switch and it’s incredible!

Looking to upgrade my 1070ti soon. That boy was a champ for over 5 years.

I just bought the RX 7800xt red devil limited edition for my taichi mobo…

Now i want that one 🤣

  6. metalord_666

    You’re saying a 3080 can’t handle Starfield. Bruh

  7. Psychosis99

Slightly off topic but what would be a good high end 4k monitor to pair with this card or a 4090?

  8. SadiesUncle

about to rebuild from a 3080ti to that same card in white. cheers!

  9. NovicePro_

my 3070 runs starfield with no problem at all lol

avoid either playing CS2 for now or do not enable anti-lag+ anyway enjoy your new GPU 😀

EditL: it’s because vac bans rdna3 users using anti-lag+ in CS2 it will get overturned if already played it with anti-lag+

  11. datbimmer

Hell of an upgrade. I went from a 3080ti to this and holy sh.. .

  12. BerosCerberus

First thing you should not do is to post that you have a new card.

Every Fanboy will now crawl out of his cave.

  13. alper_iwere

You know using air-recirculation will cool down the interior better than setting the ac to lowest and fans to highest right?

  14. xprozoomy

    Just look at that vram

dont max out all settings and youll be fine, most of them barely do anything but eat up fps

  16. Savenfall

    Jesus, people…

    DON’T 👏USE👏ULTRA👏 SETTINGS

It gives you literally ZERO to none, diminishing returns, but you pay with frames.

High, medium-high is the way to go.
A lot of developers use ultra as a “fuck it, we ballin” option.

    Tweak your goddamn settings!

  17. Miguel3403

I can run Starfield at max settings using dlss performance at 4k on my 3080

  18. Oingob0ing0

Im thinking of switching to amd since i never ever use ray tracing. I just dont care for it. I have a 3070 and it is starting to feel like losing its capabilities in 1440p.

    7800xt or 7900xt

  19. Miguel3403

Let’s go paying 900€ for a new card so you can play games at slightly higher settings and get the same relative ray tracing performance

  20. the_dibrador

What do you mean the Rtx 3080 can’t handle Starfield?

  21. Lvl81Memes

Bro you were running it at 1080p? Man you should take a look at your settings before dropping the money on a new card

  22. TowelComplete4577

When should one generally start upgrading parts? My pc is like 6 years old and I haven’t upgraded anything but my cooler.

  23. ZaadKanon69

    Enjoy.

The Taichi is a sick overclocker btw, bested only by the ASrock Aqua.

You can get basically 4090 Raster performance out of it and almost 4080 RT performance. Hmu if you want some tips cause RDNA overclocking is not as straightforward. There’s a lot of headroom for manual tuning.

Got my 7900Xt 20gb Taichi running at 3Ghz core and a 10% VRAM OC 🙂

  24. Vhirsion

Such a beautiful card, I have the Taichi white and it looks and performs amazingly, regularly hits over 2.9ghz as well out of the box, truly insane

  25. Airblazer

How the fuck is starfield not running the best on a 3080?? I have one and it runs perfectly for me on a 1440p monitor.
Granted it’s unoptimised but that doesn’t mean you need to upgrade your card.

  26. canadiatv

Yeah because a 3080 needs an upgrade… Get those 2 extra fps lol

  27. goldkimono

welcome to team red! love that Taichi edition big time ..

  28. XxSub-OhmXx

I have same 7900xtx in white. Card runs great and overclocks well. Enjoy the card. And hopefully soon frame gen in drivers
