Ya never lose the apartment. Dont worry about the rent.

  2. VancienGaming

Pretty sure this was to the previous tenant, which is why you own it.

I swear this used to be a thing in the game too

  4. TheTopazScorpio

Don’t panic, you never do lose it.

It’s nothing. It just adds some flavor to the game world. It signifies that you’ve been out of commission for a bit. Just assume it gets taken care of while you’re not looking and have a good time playing the game. You can’t lose the apartment, even if you were to try. There’s just no system in the game that removes apartments from your ownership

I think the game actually ends(about a month?) before the ddl so you don’t need to pay for it

Maybe the recent real-life workplace phishing awareness campaigns have made me jaded, but I always figured this was an attempt at frauding me out of my hard earned money.

there is a ventilation system you can use to get back inside the apartment

I’ve got over 10 million eddies in cash, my car collection is worth 2-3 million, I own several apartments all over Night City, my weapons and cybetware are worth couple of milllion as well so how the hell I’m behind on rent for this place?

I thought this sub was for posting about the game?

I wondered the same thing too….. man real life responsibilities haunting me in cp77

  12. Think its a reference to Edgerunners anime. David gets kicked out of the house for not paying the rent

V doesn’t have enough time to pay rent.

You won’t live long enough for that to matter.

The entire cyberpunk2077 story actually takes place over a very small perdiod of time. I’d be suprised if you actually would get kicked out before fighting you-know-who at the end, cause i’m pretty sure the entire story canonically takes place over a few days/weeks from V waking up

It’s a shame that they don’t actually evict you from appartments or maybe make you pay rent to keep them.

It would be be a great RP reason for V to keep working and continually make money. Something that has already been lacking in this game.

Unless your V is obsessed with becoming a legendary merc or is planning to do the “storming Arasaka tower alone” ending there is no explanation why V keeps taking gigs snd jobs instead of rushing to save his/her life. And don’t get me started on buying appartments and cars, there is simply no logical reason for that, V has no need for either.

You don’t lose it, canonically, between this and the ending, not much time passes
