My dual arc A770 gaming PC build. Why? because I hate money, that’s why.

I’m just curious about the cable management

    So here’s the deal

I’m currently trying to proof of concept this as I do not yet have the monitor I need with PBP function. The intention here is to have a monitor with PBP so that each card is driving their respective halves of the display, so card 1 is driving left side, and card 2 driving right. To test this concept, I have 2 separate monitors, though they’re mismatched and have different resolutions, I changed the resolution of one to match the other in hopes that spanning games would work. All multi-monitor game spanning guides only really apply to nvidia and AMD as their drivers have multi-monitor tools built in specifically for games. This is the first time ever I’ve tried to attempt to get a game to span across monitors, and I had thought that this was a windows setting and was done automatically or have a setting in-game for monitor spanning. Apparently I thought wrong.

Complicating matters more, when I moved a windowed game from monitor 1 to monitor 2, which are hooked to the top and bottom respectively, I had expected to see the top GPU’s utilization and temps to drop, and the bottom GPU’s to increase, but this didn’t happen. Even with the game having been moved to the 2nd monitor/GPU, it seemed all the processing was still happening on the top card. I’m not sure if this is a reporting issue, but maybe the top card is still doing the processing and just piped to the bottom? I don’t know. What I fear now is that if I do somehow get this to work, the processing will only be done on one card, and the rest piped through the second, but I’m not exactly sure if this will even work at all at this point without massive hacky solutions.

  3. You’re crazy. I admire and respect it, but you’re still crazy.

I’ve always wondered the wattage amount when running dual cards etc.

Does Arc even have multiGPU configuration support

As much as it isn’t efficient for dual GPU’s anymore, I still love the look of any PC with more than one card. I don’t know why, it just makes it look powerful. 😂🤘

  7. it looks really cool, gotta be hones. And if it works and the performance is satisfactory then that’s even better

If you really hate money, why not a 4090 like a normal person

  9. That looks dope. Dumb as hell build of course, but you’re clearly self aware and in to it, so I’m happy for you and I hope this wild freak beast of a rig does whatever the hell you built it for flawlessly.
