I’m literally selling my old Ryzen 5 system with a 3060ti for around $350.
$800 is an absolute ripoff.
unabletocomput3
For being a prebuilt this isn’t even that bad. It’s not great since it’s cyberpower and they always cheap out while charging premium prices but I’ve seen worse specs, from Dell and hp, go for more.
blueshark27
Whats the problem? Are US prices so good that $800 is a rip off? That build would probably be £800 easy.
HankThrill69420
i’ve seen way worse. the 6700 is an okay card
Zephyrus707
I don’t get it

If I wasn’t building it myself, that’s about what I’d expect to pay for those specs from most brick-and-mortar shops.

a kick out of what? A reasonable priced gaming PC?

For a second I thought they were selling a rx 6700 for $800 when I saw the title of the post. But then I saw that it was a full pc lol. Seems like a reasonable price to me lol.
Darth-Zoolu
If you have $800 to spend on a PC you need to just build it!
or10n_sharkfin
CyberPowerPC is terrible as a prebuild company, but I think people misconstrue this subreddit as “lol prebuild bad huehuehue.”
This is actually fairly reasonable with all considerations given to the components being advertised. I’d worry more about the motherboard and the power supply.
ClosetGamer19
i can only assume the cheapest of air coolers, a 1-fan GPU, no heat spreaders on the 2133mhz memory, and the crappiest motherboard and PSU known to mankind
blueangel1953
Not a bad system for that price.
Squiliam-Tortaleni
I had basically this exact build; its quite decent and price isn’t horrible
Is it “haha wow pre-builts are way more reasonable than they used to be”?
FightingWithSporks
It’s a slightly older cpu but all things considering not a bad price
rulejunior
That’s not that bad……
I mean, Cyberpower probably cheaped out on the RAM, Mobo, and PSU a bit, but for someone who is willing to trade the ability to customize and tailor their build for turnkey out of the box with a singular warranty and retail support, that’s actually halfway decent.
Granted, it would be a better deal if it was a 6700XT or a 7600, but if I was in the market for a pre-built, this would be an option to consider
It’s not that bad. The 5500 is kind of the weakest link but a 5800x and a decent cooler is like what, 250$?

I’ll never buy Cyberpowerpc again. Bought a pre built from Best Buy and after gaming for 5 minutes, the monitor would shut off and say no signal. Called Cyberpowerpc and they said it was video card. They sent me a replacement. Did yhe same thing after a month. Brought it back to Best Buy and replaced with a HP Omen. No issues.
Alexandratta
Seems like a decent, middle-of-the-road price.
You could, of course, build it cheaper. But for an Off-The-Shelf Gaming PC, this isn’t bad.
thatorangetiburon
Thats actually a semi-decent build for the price. I work at a Walmart, and recommended this to a friend who is absolutely not interested in building, but wanted a PC with a warrenty. Not the greatest cpu and gpu pairing, and probably cheaped out on some parts, but for a turnkey pc out of the box, tbh, I’d buy it.
FatBoyDiesuru
Reasonable. Check the power supply, which is usually the worst component in their builds.
rainorshinedogs
whats a good Prebuilt then, if CyberpowerPC seems to be in the no-go zone. I honestly don’t have the time to build one. Thats all. (Busy father, kids touches and gunks up everything, demanding job that simply needs me to be on my A-game 100% of the time).
Snek_Yawns
“Gen 4 nvme SSD” but has a 5500 which only supports gen 3 lol

What the fuck is that
VenomSnakeronies
be wary of cyberpower or ibuypower products. they’ve been notoriously awful.
TerrorFirmerIRL
What are we getting a kick out of? I don’t get it. This seems like a really solid deal for a walk-in, pick up off the shelf job.
Nuuboat
Mine is still better. I built it 7y ago, for approx 9k.
Glad to see theres still no reason for me to buy a new one.
Pohaku1991
This really isn’t a terrible deal. It’s still not good but nothing worth laughing at

Nothing beats this at my local Walmart.

At least it’s got 16gb, hope it’s dual channel…
