Yup that basically sums it up.. power dash into enemy, spam left click and repeat until everyone is dead.
I got bored of it so I switched to monowire netrunner, and its pretty cool with how much you can manipulate the area

The katana is a too slappy for me, my strokes don’t have weight and when I hit it just slaps them over and over till they die. It does not feel like I’m cutting an enemy with a sword. I might as well be using a wet noodle and slap people to death.

I swear Katana builds in update 2.0 make it seem like V is on the hardest drugs cause damn he is moving fast

I saw katana gameplay prior to my playthrough, told myself I want to use guns, swords arent my style. Then one of the trophies was for getting 100 melee kills. I started working on it and after my first combat encounter I was like… “oh hell yeah!” lol. After that I respect by build and am mainly using katanas and knives. I love it lol

I’ve always been a player that likes to switch up my playstyle throughout a playthrough in games where builds matter, and don’t really like builds as a result. So I end up being a jack of all trades, master of none because of the limited perks/attributes.
I just wanna be (eventually) OP and go around causing all kinds of mayhem in different ways.

I had a katana build back in 2021 (with Satori), and it was OP even then. Was a lot of fun, but I ended up deleting the character and starting again, because I couldn’t make the story fit the personality I had in mind for the character.

I am currently doing a hacking / 90% katana + throwable axes & knives / 10% pistol build because mostly Im throwing stuff & deflecting bullets & slicing up if they get too close but honestly I just picked up a crazy Sandevistan off of a Gig & am considering giving up hacking again.

I think cdpr should stop the timer in the sandy whenever you use a finisher on someone.
