You know how you can skip time by sleeping in bed? I wonder if you can sleep skip time multiple times so that months—even a years—has passed. Wonder if CDProjekt even anticipated this so they added something in the game of what happens if you do this

I feel like this game is two different ideas spliced haphazardly together.
A. You can be anything you want in an open world rife with possibilities and begging to be explored. Take all the time you want to see and do everything! Collect all the cars, weapons, cyberware, and apartments in the world, if you want.
B. Who your character is isn’t actually relevant because you’re just slowly becoming Johnny number 2 anyway. You don’t smoke? You thought. You like short, small frame girls? Too bad. You want to take time to decide what kind of person you’ll be in this cyberpunk world? You have mere weeks left to live, so good luck with that.

I just wish they had a function that was “theirs” other than the ability to use the wardrobe to make outfits. That’s literally the only reason I visit them unless a quest makes me, as stash boxes are available via cars, sleep isn’t actually “needed,” and there’s literally nothing to do there but roleplay being an alcoholic for the most part.
I wish they had unique missions that would pop from your neighbours, or there were unique items that you got from owning specific ones, or that they had unique scenes or interactions (ie; you have the really nice apartment and you can get your girl/boyfriend at the time to move in there with you). Something to justify their existence, ’cause currently I don’t see any REAL justification other than trophy/achievement progress and being a money sink.

I mean, V only pays for each apartment once, and it doesn’t seem like enough to buy the pad outright.
V’s putting down first + last month’s rent and a security deposit and not worrying about later months, since she’ll most likely be dead.
