He actually got me nervous when he came up to V in the black sapphire

There needs to be an option “Allow me? Oh you dont allow me anything, not you or your entire squad of goons can scratch me”

very good voice actor, I really loved the delivery of the lines altough the character is underutilized, and Alex should never be able to take him out on her own and then be able to survive that encounter

>!Honestly was surprised with how under utilized he is in the story. Kind of turned out to be the not as impactful as I was expecting. Given certain choices in the story, you may not even have the chance to kill him yourself, making for a pretty anticlimactic villain.!<
Not to say I didn’t like the character at all, I felt like he was acted very well and the scenes he’s in does draw in some tension but I wouldn’t necessarily it’s all due to his presence. There’s a lot more at play there other than “fascist dictator controlling cut off district in NC is scary”, but that’s very clearly by design. >!It’s set up to give the appearance of Hansen being the main villain, when really it’s the NUSA, and not even Myers herself but just the overall oppressiveness of the entity that is the NUSA. Hansen is just another piece on the board.!<

He’s full of shit. Money-hungry corrupt politician type full of shit. Love him, they nailed his character
shaid_pill
I feel like he’s what Reed could’ve been if he made different choices. Their backgrounds are pretty comparable.
I was disappointed with the character. You really don’t interact with him much at all.
bluebadge
You mean Walter Kurtz?
Hah.
Just about everyone associated with the FIA or Barghest got royally fucked over by their commanders during/and at the end of the Unification war. Can’t say I blame him, even if he’s bad guy. The only difference between Solomon Reed and Hansen is that Reed kept his allegiance after his agency sold him out. Reed easily could have gone the same direction and set up shop, gone into biz for himself.

My first impression was “walking, talking, corpse.”

Good character
takuru
He was a good villain but underused. It felt like they ended his story early because they didn’t want to put extra development time into designing a boss fight.
AKICombatLegend
Such a waste he should have had way more screen time
exo_officio
Wish we could side with him and kill Myers
BarelyReal
Love how he’s framed as this outsider sick of the bullshit, >!but in reality is another part of the system that is Night City. He’s a business man who watched Apocalypse Now and got an idea for branding and saw opportunity. Yeah he is a badass soldier, but that’s a truth that makes up a larger lie.!<
And like other great handling of the archetype it’s his calmness that is so intimidating and gives away that he’s a thinker.
MigratingPenguin
His public announcements sound like he’s restraining himself from killing the entire population of his district… so yeah, the voice actor did a good job.

Dogtown alpha hound MY ASS!

I think he should have survived Alex so that you’d fight him in both routes. Also I wish the “Balls to the wall” quest was mandatory to be honest because I missed it on my first run and it’s a shame since playing as him is a nice way to build him up a little.
Thinking back on my first PL run where I missed that sidequest and picked the route where he’s not a boss, he really ended up looking like a nothing character to me. He was a decent way more memorable in my second run where he got some much needed screentime. At the end of the day he’s a fairly simple character, what you see is what you get, so there’s not that much to say about him though.
Cool voice actor indeed!

He represents the issue with the DLC imo, a great character that wasn’t exploited to its full potential
Drolex17
Great villain. Ruthless, cold, and tactical in his actions. Makes sense hed have control over a place as harsh as dogtown
Appollix
Was expecting a boss fight. Wasn’t expecting him to be a off screen death. Maybe that situation can play out differently; but his replacement is a cartoon character.
ThePandaRider
Would like to get some missions from him. Kinda feels like him ignoring V (a notorious NC merc at that point) to deal with his problems is out of character.
urlond
I liked him, to bad we couldn’t get an ending where we sided with him completely.
Sych0tic
The little interactions we got with him were intimidating and good but other than that, he didn’t really feel like an antagonist imo. He just felt like a roadblock.
Curzed1
That he isn’t Morgan Blackhand
DarioxSulvan
We should’ve seen him and Myers talking
MikusLeTrainer
He’s definitely a cool villain. Talking to him is frightening because you get the sense that he always knows what you’re scheming. I was incredibly surprised when >!Alex killed him.!< My biggest critique is that there’s so few interactions with him.
