Unplug the laptop and store it somewhere safe until the manufacturer or board repair shop can take a look at it. Either some liquid spill/ water damage took place by another user, or a cap blew (Low probability to show up in the charge port, IMO).
Don’t try to charge it!
EDIT: Don’t power it on either!
Hattix
That seems to be liquid damage although, without seeing inside the laptop, it’s hard to tell exactly what happened.
Keep it powered down and clean out the port with something soft and dry.

Looks like oil to me. You should be able to tell. Can’t imagine where it came from. Vegetable oils can dissolve copper or copper containing metals to form green color.

Does it smell like pennies/copper coins? If it does, it’s copper oxide, maybe a damaged heatpipe leaked.

It could be a cap that exploded near the charging/power circuit. I’d avoid turning it on and open it up to check what’s going on.

Spontaneous ejaculation of electronic devices. It was aroused, it’s just a phase, don’t worry.
wiino84
Well, this is something new.
But def. would open it and see is it coming from laptop or cable. But it’s hard to imagine how can this go through the cable..
And in the laptop, only thing I can think of (having some kind of fluid) is heat pipes or battery. Also thermal pads, but that kinda too much for a thermal pad.

SpaceGravy93
That’s charging oil, when the battery is completely full of charging oil, it’s fully charged, you might have a faulty diode that’s allowing the charge to flow back out of the charging port.

Did your charger get wet before plugging it in? It could have been moisture in the air or If you have one of those airs purifiers near by.
irodragon20
Blue probably means it’s the electrolyte in the battery somehow working it’s way back through to the charger. Does it smell sweet or really bad? If it’s sweet then probably a drink. In which case you have two options. First and my favorite try to replace the port and clean the inside yourself, but be sure to study quite a lot before trying, two is taking it to a shop. If it stinks it’s electrolyte either from your batter or caps. But that amount would most likely be the battery so if that’s the case get it to a shop ASAP
DocGerbill
Looks like copper oxide, but it makes no sense for it to be on the charging port. It’s probably leaking from inside the laptop, so like a damaged heat pipe or someone spilled something on it.
Is your laptop still in warranty? If no, open it up and unplug the batter, then take into a shop.
If yes, then open an RMA for it as you may lose warranty if you open it up.
If you feel confident to replace computer parts yourself, open it up and have a look, most likely whatever is leaking copper oxide, or another blue liquid will be very obviously out of place.
Weaseltime_420
That’s the electricity fluid. Your atoms are out of alignment causing the electrons to condense into a fluid and leak.

**Update:**
I had to do some very important work in the morning, so i finished that quickly. I am not turning it off.
After posting this, i took a tooth brush and some kitchen paper to brush the liquid off from the cable and inside the port. Now after finishing my work, i noticed that the liquid is back, so it is definitely leaking from somewhere inside. I will probably bring it to a shop.
Now comes the problem, I’m not exactly in the most stable financial position and i have some other work left to do for this week. Therefore leaving it at a shop for a week would be pretty bad for me. Next week i actually have vacation, soo… **How stupid would i be to keep working on it for another week and bring it to the shop next week?**

Corrosion. Something got wet and it’s forming while electricity is passing around.
It happens a lot on sensors exposed to water and humidity.
Take care, and check the laptop.
If battery is bulging, dispose it safely.

Okay so thats basically a wild guess but what if the charging port is located near the hinge that has a excessive amount of grease slathered on. A temperature increase in this General Arena could potentially liquefy the grease after which it could creep into the charging port. It would explain the color the smell and the crumbliness (particles from the hinge). But it would be for the best if you got it to some kind of electronics repair Shop and left it off until then.
