SLI is dead you can find more modern gpus for this price.

  2. Try to get 1 for 150, that’s a good price for a 1080 ti 11gb.

  3. Lee_Van_Beef

300 dollars will buy you a REALLY nice space heater and you’ll get the same effect and FPS in games.

  4. blueangel1953

Nope much better cards to be had for that money and dual GPU has long been dead.

  5. Digital_Stealth

You know what? For 300, that’s pretty cool. At least I think so.

  6. HeavyProfessional420

Rtx 3060 gets you almost the same fps minus ray tracing for 300 and you get two for the price of one and can use for two builds. Also a lot of the memory chips are going bad in the 3060 and below so I wouldn’t touch anything before the 3060

  7. ContactIcy3963

Get both for two PCs. SLI is dead and don’t even bother trying to do it

  8. ketamarine

I would not count on those cards working much longer.

7 years old. Save and buy a new card, even a lower end one. DLSS 3g and fsr3 are completely game changing in terms of fps / $.

Depends. This is absolutely horrible for gaming, but for process-heavy work applications, go for it.

Not unless you plan to sell or give the other own away, or unless you’re a wealthy collector who happens to have $300 they don’t mind throwing away.

  11. SLI this, SLI that….he is just asking if the price is good for these two, maybe he want tu use one and sell the other or build 2 rigs. In my opinion the price is good, if the fan is working fine and recently repasted go for it

  12. LilQueazy

I’ve spent more than 300 on micro transactions so Atleast you got that lol.

  13. Rambush01

for sure! keep one and sell the other. 150 is a good deal for a 1080 ti.

  14. conman3609

Idk ide snag it if you could get them both for like 240 and then put them in a budget system separately or sli them for workstation use

  15. BelphegorDuck

    I bought my 3060 for 360 dollars, I think

Edit: I checked my Amazon its 288 dollars

  16. theRealNilz02

For 300 bucks that’s a pretty nice deal for 2 cards. I wouldn’t run them in SLI anymore though as most software cannot make use of it anyway, especially software written after SLI disappeared. If you don’t have use for a second GPU I’d pass on this.

But if I were in the market for two GPUs to build PCs for my family, yes I’d get them.

  17. If saving money is in your interest, getting just one of them for 150USD isn’t the worst deal. If they are bundeled together, you can sell one of them. But if you have 300 usd flat for an upgrade, get anything but SLI.

My company uses lots of these in the cluster for ML. These and 2080ti. My remote PC has 1080ti too lol. Still good for 1080p probably, my PC has worse card sadly.
