Cyberpsychosis, I like turning my enemies against themselves, plus not being the only thing shot at is a great bonus
Contagion pre-2.01 update was so broken haha I popped one quick hack and it would clear a whole building.
If I’m quickhacking, then I’m playing stealthy. So I’ll keep it simple and say Ping.
Must be Sonic Shock because I can’t do anything without some gonk tracing me immediately. After that it is Cyberpsychosis, I love pulling the strings.
Depends on which stage of the game I’m at:
Early game: Sonic Shock is the key to avoiding detection while you methodically take down enemies until there’s few enough left to go loud without getting overwhelmed.
Mid game: Short Circuit goes BRZZZT.
Late game: Contagion is the key to exploding an entire group of enemies before they even know you’re there.
contagion is pretty much all I use after the dlc. Then I use the smart iconic gun (forget name) that does flame damage to make everyone explode. Or I just use the smart “shotgun” that shoots the rockets, does the same thing but…more overkill 😛
SOMETIMES I just use contagion and then overhead to do the same thing.
Don’t think I can pick just one, but contagion + overheat is what i always open up with on my raven something cyberdeck. I only wish iconic contagion actually worked correctly and did something.
But 8x cyberware malfunction and short circuit is absolutely fucking ridiculous on single targets.
It once was.. since it’s passive was that your deck spreads all quick hacks..
Now it is the Secret Quickhack. (It is built in in the specific secret deck)
I love ping. Especially the higher end ones when you can ping people through walls.

I use the system reset. I use only non lethal hacks. This one is the purest hack I guess. It just switches everyone off.) And when you can spread hacks it feels like being Alt!
No favorite quickhack but my favorite combo is sonic shock, cyberware malfunction x 2, cyberpsychosis on the boss of the group. Then I just start crouch sprinting and hitting headshots with my knife
Overheat drops anything in the game. I just look at a crowd and they burst into flames. Netrunner is really strong now.
Gorilla Arms
I use Cyberpsych, a lot. I see a supply drop, I get close, squat down, and psych 2-3 of the bigger guys, then crouch back down and go afk, then come back and profit.
Ping, I like knowing where people are and it’s my crutch

Gorilla arms are the best quickhack.
I have yet to find some trenchcoat wearing techie that can override getting these hands, or some chair bound nerd who can withstand the might of my fucking fists as I tell them to get out of that ice bath and square the fuck up.
Ping, be it for stealth or loud interventions. The intel you get on enemy location is invaluable imo

the ability to just say “you? gone” with an untraceable instant down that ignores HP is awesome. it’s a good stealth hack it’s a good combat hack, what’s not to love?
#2 absolutely goes to Ping. even my non-hacker builds like Ping. if you could get a Sandy or Berserk with 1 slot I’d want Ping more than any other

Detonate grenade.
I use it heavily on gangs I hate (VDB, Scavs) and get endless enjoyment watching the poor SOB I hack freak out as their hand grabs a grenade, pulls the pin, and holds onto the grenade, while they’re trying to get rid of it with the one hand they still have control over.
It’s also hilarious their friends don’t run away but often tend to stand with them, trying to help futilely.
If it’s a flashbang, it blinds everyone. If it’s anything else, well…less people I’ll need to shoot.

From a 1.6 perspective (because thanks to a major fuckup by CDPR I specced out of it with 2.0): Reboot Optics because that allows ghost stealth and Cyberpsychosis because burning all your RAM on that as a fight opener lets you just sneak around the edges and pick off the enemies busy fighting their own guys and that’s just funny.
Cripple movement, when slotted into your monowire.
Litlle bit of a cheat as it’s built in to the Millitech Canto Mk 6 – But the Blackwall Quickhack – first it’s just awesome, second after getting shot of Skippy back to Regina, I missed having an AI chatting to me.
My favorite is cybersychosis proly a lot of ppls but I love too look somewhere see the toughest mf and let his choom take him out (or he/she do them) while I hit them from the other side make a huge mess love it then take their turrets if any against them gosh I love this game
I think my current favorite is Contagion, it’s just too satiisfying seeing all of them succumb to lethal poison, pairs at a time

I just installed a cyber that allows me to block traces in some instances.
I needed to earn a little money, so I’m off in Night City and will play around with my build a little more.
Then return to Dog City. Next will be Cyber and maybe call a friend quick hacks.
Cripple Movement with the relic perk that lets you slot a quickhack into your monowire. Hit the henchies with that, stack finishers, and get cheap Suicide uploads on the boss mobs.

Synapse Burnout for infinite overclock.
I made a build that kept my overclock active for as long as there are enemies I can find thanks to synapse burnout (and an semi-endless supply of auto heals). I fought three waves of max tac units before I got bored (and realized that you can’t cause so much damage that enemies just give up like in GTA). It was hilarious to watch everyone around me just fall. And whatever was left I basically just punched dead.
But I think just as a really cruel flex – ‘suicide’. The sheer terror someone must feel when they stand with their fellow gang members partying and suddenly all but you point a gun at their head and pull the trigger and you’re all on your own before the same thing happens to you and you can’t stop it.
Before 2.0 I was a female corpo net runner V that had people suicide, now I’m brute boi V with gorilla arms 🦍💪
