I always leave it on, since I don’t have a need for any Hand cyberware personally (melee-only here)
Pre 2.0 it also was smart link like TC tatoo. Guess, they changed it.
No, the last PL mission seems to be bugged. I had several of my cyberwares uninstalled during it. I found out when I hit my inventory cap when I shouldn’t have and found out my carry capacity cyberware had been removed. My recoil absorber had also been yanked out which was an even bigger issue once combat started.
