  1. For OS usage? Sure.

    But my 44TB RAID6 HDD NAS is 90% full, I wouldn’t want to buy that storage in SSDs.

    Until the Cents/TB get competitive, HDDs will stay relevant. Even then HDD are safer for long term cold storage.

    I used an SSD for the first time a few years ago, never going back to spinning rust

    Does anyone remember SSHDs? Those were pretty short lived.
