Well they didn’t take into consideration the small convenience that V is literally having his brain rewritten and at the same time protected by the shard.

1)on a meta level, it’s a case of gameplay over logic. V in a coherent narrative is not going to do 35 police missions, neutralize 10 cyberpsychos, 20 gigs, and and go on ten massive story missions in the span of 5 days. Not to mention cyberware/cyberpsychosis is handled on a similiar Level to the “infinite web shooter” in Spiderman.
You could give Spiderman a limit on his web shooters, but other than a needless itemization/resource, what plot point does it serve beyond to inconvience/discourage the player?
2)On a non meta level, V is legit “built different”. David is an Outlier, so is V. Weirdly enough, the game treats the edgerunner quest line as a warning to V, to imply he could end up going cyberpsycho were he to chrome out like Maine/David, but instead it’s “*cool jacket choom*”.

I legit would pop it 3-4 times in extended fights, especially with the “kills reduce cool-down”, I’d pop it, kill a few goons, come out and advance towards them, pop it again, kill a few more.

I wanna use Sandevistan but I’d have to give up my cyberdeck and that’s a no-go

Biochip constantly repairing V’s brain and such, just more into Johnny’s favour. So V can cause as much brain damage to themselves as they want, biochip just fixes it. Though you’d think it would cause V to become Johnny a hell of a lot faster doing so.

I need a rewatch when I am mentally healthy. Planning to play cp2077 when I get a pc to be able to play on 1440p instead of 1080p
